About Us
Our Why
It was a winter break and I could not wait to get home. My son Timur would be there and I had not seen him in two months since he left for college. Timur came down the stairs to greet me, and I was shocked by the amount of weight he had lost. That moment was the beginning of my family's journey with addiction. A journey we were not prepared for. A disease we did not understand. Timur lost his battle with addiction in 2017. Our family was forever changed.
Addiction is a disease which impacts so many, and yet so few still speak about it. I created Anchor to provide family members, friends and loved ones the space to reflect, and a community of others walking a similar path.

Mission
We believe that the emotional well-being of families and loved ones affected by addiction needs support. Anchor is for them. A place where they can be part of a community which understands.
Vision
We are redefining how the world supports addiction recovery by building a future where the effects of addiction are met with understanding and support. A world where families and communities are equipped to heal together, so they don't survive apart.
